01Who we are
LogiInspect AI is a product of Blackstone Lane LLC (“we”, “us”), a United States company. Questions about this policy, or any request about your information, go to rfinsel@blackstonelanellc.com or (706) 925-7007.
02What this policy covers
Two things, treated separately below: this website, logiinspectai.com; and the LogiInspect AI application at app.logiinspectai.com and on iPhone and iPad (the “Service”). The Service is licensed to organizations and inspectors (each a “Customer”). The Customer decides what is recorded in its account and who may see it, and we handle that information on the Customer's behalf. If you use the Service through your employer or a client, they control your account.
03This website
The website has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies and no forms, and it sets no cookies of its own. When you load it:
- Fonts load from Google Fonts. Google receives the request, which includes your IP address and browser details, under Google's privacy policy.
- The web host, Bluehost, keeps ordinary server logs: IP address, time, page requested and browser type.
- Email and phone links open your own mail or phone app; nothing reaches us until you choose to send it.
Do Not Track. The website doesn't track visitors over time or across other sites, so it treats every visit the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. No third party tracks visitors through this website; Google receives only the font request described above.
04What the Service records
- Account information: name, email address, role, company and the sites you're assigned to. Sign-in is handled by Supabase Auth; passwords are stored only as hashes, and we never see them.
- Inspection records: whatever is recorded in the Service: photographs and markup, captions, gauge readings and serial numbers, ambient readings, condition grades, findings and NCRs, sign-offs with drawn signatures, daily JSA sheets with the names and signatures of those who attended, Board posts and tasks, and generated reports. These records can contain the names and signatures of people on site; the Customer is responsible for telling those people.
- Inspector profile: certifications with their expiry dates and gauge calibration dates, which you enter yourself and which print on the reports you sign.
- Device information: the Service doesn't read GPS or device location. The camera is used only when you take a photo in the app. Work is kept on the device until it syncs, so the app works with no signal. If you turn on alerts, a push token for your device is stored to deliver them. When something goes wrong, the app sends an error report (the message, technical details, the screen, the app build and your user ID) so the fault can be fixed.
- No advertising and no third-party analytics code in the Service.
05How we use it
We use this information to provide the Service to the Customer, to keep it secure, to fix faults, to answer support requests, to send the email and alerts the Service sends, and to improve the Service using aggregated, de-identified information. We don't sell personal information, use it for advertising, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
06Who handles it for us
We run the Service on these providers. Each receives only what its row describes, and we don't share information with anyone else except when the law requires it.
| Provider | What it holds or sees |
|---|---|
| Supabase | The database, sign-in, file storage and server functions: account and inspection records, signed reports, reference documents and form templates. Hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States. |
| Cloudflare R2 | Photographs and the weekly database backup. Photos are reached through short-lived signed links. |
| Backblaze B2 | A weekly backup copy of photographs, documents and the database. Copies are locked against deletion for 90 days after they're written. |
| Vercel | Serves the application's files and keeps request logs. Stores no Customer records. |
| Anthropic | AI features, only when a user asks for one: the photo or text in question is sent to Anthropic's API and the answer comes back. Nothing is sent on a schedule. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, this data isn't used to train its models. |
| Apple | Alerts to the iPhone and iPad app pass through Apple's push service: who assigned the task, the first 120 characters of its text and its Board address. Alerts to the web app are encrypted end to end. |
| Resend | Sends report emails and invitations: recipient addresses, the message and any attached report. |
| GitHub | Hosts the code and runs the weekly backup job; the backup passes through briefly and isn't kept there. |
| Google Fonts | Fonts on this website only (section 3). |
07Keeping it apart and keeping it safe
- Each company sees only its own records. Every record is tagged with the Customer it belongs to, and the database's row-level security keeps one Customer's users from reading another's. Within a Customer, access follows role and site.
- In transit and at rest: all traffic uses HTTPS, and the storage providers above encrypt data at rest.
- Backups run weekly to two separate providers, and the database backup is test-restored automatically every week.
- Support access is off unless a Customer's administrator turns it on, read-only, for 24 hours, and the Customer can see who looked.
No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee the security of any information.
08How long we keep it
Customer records are kept while the Customer's licence is active. Records removed in the app are kept in its audit trail rather than destroyed, so the history stays whole. When a licence ends, the Customer can ask for an export, and then for deletion; backup copies expire on their own within 90 days after that. Server and error logs are kept only as long as needed to run and fix the Service.
09Your choices and requests
If you use the Service through a Customer, ask them first: they control your account and can correct or export your information directly. You can also email us to ask what personal information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, and we'll respond within a reasonable time, subject to the Customer's instructions and any legal need to keep it.
10Children
The Service is a tool for working inspectors and the organizations that hire them. It isn't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
11Outside the United States
We're based in the United States and store information here. If you use the Service from another country, your information is transferred to and handled in the United States.
12Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. Changes that reduce a Customer's rights are sent to its administrator before they take effect.
